Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine's 49th issue will announce on Monday that Toriko manga will publish the last chapter in the 50th issue of the magazine, which will get published on Nov. 14 by Shueisha. The extended full course chapter will consist of 31 pages. Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro is the creator of Toriko, a gourmet hunter.
Viz Media publishes "Toriko Gourmet Battle" manga in North America and described it as a savage world being ruled by the quest for the most delectable foods. It could be 'eat or be eaten'.
According to Crunchyroll, the manga had a Japan release on October 4 and the 42nd volume is slated to release on Dec. 2.
Shimabukuro released Toriko manga in 2008 in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine while Shueisha published the 41st filed book volume of the manga on Oct. 4. Viz Media handled the publishing of the manga's new chapters digitally all at the same time with the Japanese launch of its English version of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Media also published on August 2 the 35th volume of Gourmet Hunter Toriko's manga.
Gourmet Hunter Toriko, according to Anime News Network is a boundless age of food and it's only Toriko who can hunt down vicious ingredients that provide the world's best restaurants. Toriko, being a gourmet hunter trace and takes down the most flavorsome but most dangerous animals using no weapons at all.
Gourmet Hunter Toriko is a story of a gourmet hunter who goes looking for unique, diverse foods to achieve a full-course meal. He will be joined on his journey by a feeble chef who wants to develop his cooking skills.
The manga's popularity led Ufotable to create a short film for the Jump Super Anime Tour 2009 and another one for the 2010 Tour. Gourmet Hunter Toriko also debuted as a television series broadcasted in Japan which started 2011 to 2014 under the Toei Animation production. Moreover, the production house produced an animated 3D short film in 2011 and a feature film in 2013.
