Sony recently picked people who enter its latest beta program to know that the first Android 7.0 Nougat build for the Xperia X Performance would be available in a few hours. But, surely some X Performance devices have already received the first beta release of Nougat.
The beta program is only available for the single-SIM version of the Xperia X Perfromance, with model number F8131. It is said that the first Nougat firmware is build 39.2.A.0.248 and contains the Oct. 1 security patches.
According to GSM Arena, Nougat will feature a split-screen multitasking and comes with the latest iteration of Stamina Mode too. Touch sensitivity has reportedly been improved, and auto-rotation bug is now fixed.
Sony also added new options for the camera app, with manual shutter speed control and manual ISO control at 23MP. Not a lot seems to be changed, so expect Sony to continue refining its Nougat software.
Xperia X Performance is Sony's top-performing camera. According to Sony, Xperia X Performance is their flagship camera, considered as the smartest and the fastest yet. The camera has also a quicker response time, more intelligent focus, and a new highly adaptive shutter speed.

The device is also water resistant. Xperia X Performance is built to withstand the splashes that are a part of everyday life making users feel relax about sudden spills and unexpected showers.
