South Korean actor, singer, television personality Cha Tae Hyun will be having a cameo appearance in the highly anticipated TV drama series “The Legend of the Blue Sea.”
An insider revealed that the Hallyu star is among the actors who are set to appear in the drama series, Soompi reported. The news agency added that Cha has already wrapped up shooting his scene for the show.
Furthermore, the 46-year-old star will be having a scene with Jun Ji Hyun, his former reel partner on one of the highest-grossing Korean comedies of all time “My Sassy Girl”. This will be the pair’s first reunion project after 15 years.
Meanwhile, the release date of Cha’s upcoming comedy movie “Because I Love You” has finally been revealed. According to All KPop, the motion picture will be open on the Korean theaters on November 16.
In the film, Cha will portray the character of a musical genius who has the ability to transfer to other people’s body after an accident. Joining him in the movie project is actress Kim Yoo Jung of the recently finished hit drama “Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds”. Kim portrays the role of a high school student who will also turn out to be the assistant of Cha’s character.
Cha made his debut in the entertainment industry after joining a talent contest held by KBS in 1995. He rose to fame through several acting projects including “My Sassy Girl”, “Scandal Makers” and “Hello Ghost”.
