The second season of the popular anime series "One Punch Man" is coming soon. As the world awaits the upcoming season of the widely popular series, possible storylines are currently explored as Saitama comes back with new adventures and villains.

According to Anime News Network, the second season of "One Punch Man" is already confirmed for release. A follow-up to the massive worldwide hit first season, the series continues under the same production company, Madhouse. Aside from the action packed anime series, Madhouse is also known for producing popular anime series in the past such as "High School of the Dead," "Hunter x Hunter" and "Death Note"
Storylines for "One Punch Man" Season 2 (Possible Spoilers!)
The first season was practically an introduction of Saitama and his immense power. The upcoming season will naturally continue to chronicle his power but there are other storylines that would eventually challenge the funny superhero.
One of the most popular characters not fully covered in anime series is Garou. He is, in some form, an opposite of Saitama: the titular hero wants to save the world while Garou intentionally wants to fight heroes. He is known for his previous association and training under Bang.
Garou's presence in the upcoming series covers multiple arcs since it will chronicle his rise to power as well as his open challenge to various heroes in the city. But aside from Garou's challenge, Saitama will have to deal with more monsters and other heroes as they display their skills in tournament style competition.
Premiere Date for "One Punch Man" Season 2
Unfortunately, the exact release date for "One Punch Man" is still unknown. The only information about the release date of the series is the official listing of the series in My Anime List. Many expect the series to return before the end of the year just like the first season, but the site lists the return of Saitama in 2017.
Saitama's long awaited return is scheduled for 2017. The return of the popular superhero will focus on a powerful villain bent on destroying other superheroes in the city including the great Saitama.
