The Phoenix Suns (2-5) and Portland Trail Blazers (4-3) clash at the Moda Center on Nov. 8, Tuesday as the 2016-2017 NBA Season continues.

Phoenix opened the season with a four-game losing slide before winning two straight games to bounce back. However, they lost again in their seventh game with a 119-108 defeat in the hands of the streaking Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center on Sunday night, as per SB Nation.

The Suns fell behind 54-43 at halftime and could not overcome their lousy start to fall to the young guns of the Lakers.

Head coach Earl Watson's own young gun, Devin Booker, was superb during the contest as he scored a game-high 39 points and had three rebounds and seven assists. Small forward TJ Warren backed him up with 22 points, six boards, three assists, and two steals while Eric Bledsoe had 19 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Jared Dudley had 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists as the fourth member of the starting unit to score in double figures. The Suns only had nine points from their bench, which contributed to the loss.

Phoenix is not known as a good road team as they lost 10 of their last 14 road matches since last season. They 1-3 on the road so far this season.

Meanwhile, the Blazers are currently on a two-game winning run after losing two consecutive games to move back above .500.

Portland defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 100-94, in their most recent match held at the FedExForum also last Sunday, the Oregon Live reported.

CJ McCollum led head coach Terry Stotts' boys with 37 points as he shot 13-for-23 from the field, including a 6-for-12 stint from beyond the three-point line. He also had four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

Team leader Damian Lillard had 19 points, six boards, and seven assists playing with a sore index finger while starting small forward Maurice Harkless chipped in 18 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks.

The Blazers have won 10 of their last 13 home matches, but they are 1-2 at home so far this season.

Prediction

Portland is not the best home squad at the moment but they had been known to protect their home floor in the past. Phoenix has always played poorly on the road, which gives the advantage to the Blazers in this game. A close win for the home team is predicted.
