Clint Eastwood's Twitter account got suspended for praising Donald Trump a few hours after winning the presidential race. In his Tweet the spaghetti western actor thanked America for voting Trump, and that he feels confident knowing that his last years on Earth would be great with the new president elect leading the country.

Fans were outraged by the banning of the actor's account. Some even call the suspension an example of liberal bias and censorship, Gizmodo reported. This is definitely a blatant disregard on free expression, which is the main principle of social media sites, especially Twitter. Clint Eastwood has always been known to be a big Republican supporter and is very outspoken about it. One of his biggest controversial Republican act was his unexpected speech t the RNC in 2012.

But since when did posting a commendation on a certain candidate be grounds for suspension of account? It turns out, his tweet wasn't the reason for the banning of his account.

His daughter, Morgan Eastwood, denied that it was her father's twitter account. It turns out, Clint Eastwood doesn't have a twitter account after all, NY Post reported.

Morgan said her dad wouldn't know how to use twitter. She also demanded whoever was doing it to stop posing as her dad. People would know that it wasn't Clint Eastwood's account, according to her. This only means that Clint Eastwood wasn't banned, but didn't have a twitter account in the first place.

However, if you read between the lines, even though the reason for the suspension is that it was a fake account, the fact still remains that it was banned right after the Donald Trump tweet. One twitter user said that supporting the new President elect is now considered "hate speech" and it is official.

It can be noted that right after Donald Trump was declared the winner of the Presidential race, people took to the streets. Protests and riots erupted in major cities as people show how much they disagree with the new President elect. It seems like it is difficult to air concern on Donald Trump as people would easily scrutinize.
