South Korean artists and former “Married Couple” Song Ji Hyo and Gary are set to work together again on the next episode of the SBS variety show “Running Man”.
The pair’s reunion was revealed by the show through an online post on November 11, Soompi reports. In fact, the announcement was even attached with a sweet image of the love team.
In the photo released by “Running Man” through their social media outlet, Gary and Song were wearing matching caps and sweater as the latter is excitedly hugging her co-star from the back. It was captioned: “The 'Monday Couple' reunite like this".
Gary announced his departure from the show through his Instagram account on October 28. He has been part of “Running Man” for 7 years.
Meanwhile, the show producer Lee Jin Hwan has recently made a public explanation on behalf of the show to clear out Gary’s sudden exit. According to Lee as quoted by All KPop: As seen in last week's preview, Gary will be appearing on the November 13 broadcast. We did bid him farewell but goodbye isn't forever so we were clingy to the very end.”
Lee added: You can think that Gary is the first guest in the first episode of the remaining 5 member-cast without him. He was given a secret mission and I hope you will check it out on the broadcast."
Gary started his entertainment career in 1996. He is known to be a rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur.
Song, on the other hand, made her acting debut in the 2003film “Whispering Corridors: Wishing Stairs”. She also appeared in TV drama series including “Princess Hours” and “Jumong”.
