Lucy Liu might be touching 47 and is seemingly busy with baby-care these days, but she still knows how to rock a red carpet.
The actress stunned everyone recently when she made an appearance at the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming film "Kung Fu Panda 3" over the weekend. The actress of Chinese descent was rocking a little black dress with sheer fabric on top. The dress ended way above her knee, which highlighted her well-toned legs.
The two-time SAG Award winner was glowing with joy when she greeted her co-star Angelina Jolie at the event. While Liu has voiced the character of Viper in the hotly-anticipated animated movie for the third time, Jolie has lent her voice for Tigress.
Apart from "Kung Fu Panda 3," Liu is also seen in hit American TV series "Elementary," starring alongside Jonny Lee Miller, who also happens to be Jolie's first husband. The former "Chi Omega" sorority sister will also play law enforcement officer in the fifth season of "Girls," which premieres on Feb. 21 on HBO.
Meanwhile, Liu is clearly enjoying her new-found motherhood. The actress, who is known to be fiercely private about her personal life, has admittedly gone for surrogacy and has not yet revealed the name of the father of her child, Daily Mail reported.
The actress was previously been linked to Israeli-American hedge fund billionaire Noam Gottesman, actor Will McCormack and filmmaker Zach Helm. She has named her son Rockwell Lloyd.
Liu may be shy about her private life but she apparently does enjoy sharing pics of her five-month-old baby on Instagram, and seemingly cannot wait for him to be old to enjoy her role as Viper in the Dreamworks Animated project.
"It's going to be for him way in the future," Babycenter quoted the actress as saying. "And I love the idea that this is the legacy that you leave behind," she added.
Talking about juggling motherhood and career, Liu opened up in the recent episode of "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" where she said that having a baby has actually been helpful for her.
"Kung Fu Panda 3" is set to release on Jan. 29. Until then, take a peek at the trailer below:
