Season 3 of ABC's "How To Get Away With Murder" is definitely hitting the charts with its intense thrills in every episode that comes by. The mid-season finale is coming up this Nov. 17, Thursday, unfolding so many mysteries from the past episodes. Titled "Who's Dead", the show finally reveals the answer to the long dispute of who among the main characters is under the sheet.
From the prior episode "No More Blood", it has been made known that Connor (Jack Falahee) is free from the list of possibly-dead persons, leaving Frank (Charlie Weber) and Nate (Billy Brown) as the remaining prospects. While it is easy to point out Frank as the one under the sheet based on his gesture of pointing a gun to himself in front of Annalise (Viola Davis), reports disclose the huge possibility that it could equally be Nate. According to the series' official synopsis, the former lovers will face a heated confrontation as Annalise receives a tip about Nate's present girlfriend A.D.A. Atwood (Milauna Jackson) being involved in the tragic house fire.
With Frank's deed seen during his reunion with Annalise on the previous episode, Weber expresses how it was only a bluff, saying "He wants her to want him to live." He explains further that Frank does not want to die, although he is willing to kill himself for Annalise. When asked about what he can reveal regarding the mid-finale episode, Weber tells TV Line "Buckle up. It's intense. And it's hard to watch - but in a great way."
There have been speculations that Annalise is the one responsible for the tragedy, as Michaela (Aja Naomi King) admitted to Bonnie (Liza Weil) in a flash-forward that the professor called everyone to her house on the night of the house fire. However, Davis contends and says in an interview that at the core of Annalise, she is a good person with a heart and she doesn't get her hands dirty. This further supports her words "No more blood." from the preceding episode, which was also its title.
The upcoming episode will uncover the events that led to the burning of Annalise's house. It may likewise explain the reason behind Wes' (Alfred Enoch) betrayal to his mentor, and how things will transpire after the arrest of Annalise.
"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 episode 9 premieres at 10:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, on the ABC television network.
