"Timeless" has added "Mr. Robot" actor Michael Drayer to its roster of season 1 guest cast.
According to TV Line, Drayer has been tapped to play the role of Harry Houdini in episode 10 of "Timeless" (airing Nov. 16) when the team heads to Chicago during The World's Fair in 1893. As to how the famous illusionist will figure into the plot, the site shared that "an amateur Houdini will employ his budding skills to help make one of the heroes disappear during a chase."
Drayer joins previously cast Joel Johnstone (The Newsroom) who will also appear in the upcoming episode as Dr. Henry Howard Holmes aka HH Holmes, one of America's first documented serial killer.
In addition to playing Cisco on "Mr. Robot," Drayer has also appeared on "Vinyl," "Blue Bloods," "Shades of Blue," "Aquarius" and "The Sopranos." On the film side, he will be next seen on the indie film "Sidney Hall" which stars Michelle Monaghan, Logan Lerman and Elle Fanning.
On the next episode of "Timeless," the team will travel to 1969 to rewrite the events that happened after the launch of Apollo 11. The episode, titled "Space Race" is slated to air on Monday, Nov. 28 at 10PM.
"Timeless" hails from creators and executive producers Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke. It stars Abigail Spencer as Lucy Preston, Claudia Doumit as Jiya, Goran Visnjic as Garcia Flynn, Malcolm Barrett as Rufus Carlin, Matt Lanter as Wyatt Logan, Paterson Joseph as Mason Lark and Sakina Jaffrey as Denise Christopher.
