"Passengers" star Chris Pratt is going to romance his real-life wife Anna Faris in the CBS' "Mom" Season 4. Faris will have plenty of chemistry with her next co-star.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Faris' husband Pratt has agreed to guest star in the upcoming episode of the CBS comedy "Mom" Season 4, making the show's stunt casting better. He will play a charming hunky horseback riding instructor Nick.
In the plot of "Mom" Season 4, Nick catches the eye of Christy (Faris). Then, Christy decides to pursue Nick despite the fact that he is the nephew of Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy). Nick is declared off-limits by her aunt, TV Line reported.
The producers have big plans for the CBS comedy "Mom" Season 4. They are staging a mini-reunion of "The West Wing" by casting Bradley Whitford (an old friend of William Fichtner's character Adam) opposite Allison Janney (Christy's mom Bonnie). They also penned a very special episode involving Christy's son Roscoe (Blake Garrett Rosenthal).
"Mom" Season 4 is not the first time Faris and Pratt have worked together. The couple appeared in "What's Your Number?" and "Take Me Home Tonight" in 2011, followed by "Movie 43" in 2013. However, the CBS comedy is the first time Pratt has appeared since its debut in 2013.
Pratt is married to Faris in 2009. He is currently busy filming sequels to his mega-hits "Jurassic World" and "Guardians of the Galaxy." Fortunately, for the CBS comedy "Mom" Season 4, he found the time to make an appearance and support his real-life wife Faris in the episode to be aired early in 2017.
Pratt was last seen in the Antoine Fugua's Western action film "The Magnificent Seven," alongside Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. He will next be seen opposite Jennifer Lawrence in "Passengers," out Dec. 21.
"Mom" is already aired at 9 p.m. ET.
