The long wait is over for Pokémon Go fans as Ditto has been finally added to the phenomenal game. Ditto is the last among the 151 non-legendary Pokémon Go creatures to reveal itself.
A few weeks ago, The Silph Road data miners became aware of a new move called 'Transform' which has been added to the augmented reality (AR) game. It is the major move linked to Ditto providing the Pokémon character the ability to transform into another Pokémon while in battle.
Players had scattered photos of Ditto being seized from every region with a nice high CP according to reports from Pokémon Go gamers coming from Australia, Sweden and the US.
Polygon has reported that Niantic verified since yesterday that Ditto is accessible to explore and catch in Pokémon Go. The company also stated that it will only expose itself after catching it, which means players need to catch more Pokémon Go which should be of a different genre.
During a gym battle or training, Ditto will imitate the appearance as well as the ability of the first Pokémon it faces and stays that Pokémon for the rest of the specific gym battle.
Remember that Ditto is a Pokémon character which possesses the ability to imitate other Pokémon it sees. Definitely, that is the same thing that Ditto will definitely do in the game and that is to camouflage itself. In order to capture Ditto, you need to catch clusters of other Pokémon, as reported by The Verge.
As soon as Ditto has been captured, it can be taken to the gym where it can transform as other Pokémon creatures imitating their powers and other abilities. Based on the recent update, a data mine was performed by The Silph Road and found out that the code which is linked to the addition of Ditto in the Pokémon Go game.
