Rumors have been running around as the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok" shares its plot theories as the Asgardian hero seeks help from the unlikeliest sources. Another tidbit from the rumor mill also reports that WWE wrestler John Cena will be making an appearance in the movie. Warning, there will be a bit of SPOILERS here, so for those haven't watched "Doctor Strange" yet, read at your own risk.
In the post-credits scene, in the usual Marvel-esque style, there always seems to be a hint that the comics based studios will be coming up with the next lineup of films. Such is the case with Benedict Cumberbatch's "Doctor Strange," where the god of thunder, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), discusses with the Sorcerer Supreme in aiding him to find his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins).
But it won't only be for Odin that Thor needs help with, but also his own wayward, adopted brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston). In fact, rumors claim that even the Asgardian Avenger will be seeking his brother, the god of mischief, for help in finding their father and help thwart whatever evil awaits them in "Thor: Ragnarok." Some leaked onset photos have shown Thor and Loki walking down the street of the studio set version of New York in civilian clothes. This may indicate that the brothers might be helping each other after all. But with Doctor Strange entering the scene, it probably means that the earlier arrangement between the brothers may have failed ultimately.
Other news also claimed that the WWE wrestler John Cena will be part of the cast of "Thor: Ragnarok." It was actually discovered in IMDB that Cena was to be part of the movie's cast as "himself." This led to speculations that the WWE champion might be kidnapped by the mysterious Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) as he collects various champions from the known reaches of the universe to battle in the intergalactic gladiator arena, which can also be the reason why the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) has been seen in the film's trailers.
