The much awaited onstage duet of KPop idols Suzy of the girl group Miss A and EXO’s Baekhyun is finally taking place as they are set to perform together at the “2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards” on December 2 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
According to reports, Suzy and Baekhyun will be performing their collaboration song titled “Dream” during the event. This would also be their first time to perform the single in front of live audiences.
Earlier this year, "Dream" was released online on the YouTube page of Mystic Entertainment. Although it has dominated the music charts after its distribution, Suzy and Baekhyun were never seen to be performing the song at any events or show.
“There have been so many songs this year, but rather than a simple featuring, I think two different people collaborating is beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing the beautiful, charming pair [together on stage],” said Director Kang of CJ E&M during a press conference on November 24 as quoted by Soompi.
Meanwhile, Suzy reportedly is set to star in an upcoming TV drama series “While You Sleep” written by renowned scriptwriter Park Hye Ryun, All Kpop reports.Joining her in the show will be “I Hear Your Voice" and "Pinocchio" star Lee Jong Suk.
Suzy started her entertainment career in 2010 after joining the girl group Miss A alongside Jia and Fei. She made her acting debut as the lead female character in the drama “Dream High”.
Baekhyun, on the other hand, joined the popular boy group EXO in 2012. Recently, he was among the cast members in the hit drama “Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds”.
