Microsoft launch might be a bit behind its schedule but Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will make sure that the long wait will be worth it. The tech company has been decisive to provide something out of the ordinary and will stay in the phone industry as they get to introduce the 2017 Microsoft Surface Phone next year.
"We will continue to be in the phone market not as defined by today's market leaders, but by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the most ultimate mobile device," said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
It was reported that Microsoft is going to have a special approach in regards to smartphone competition, with the intention of creating the considerable "ultimate mobile device" far from other smartphone companies who are engaged mostly in the smartphone race competition, Auto World News reported.
Rumors tell that the 2017 Microsoft Surface Phone will come in three different versions: 3GB RAM / 32GB storage (same with the current Lumia 950 / 950 XL); 6GB RAM / 128GB storage (same with the very latest Android flagships); and 8GB RAM + 500GB storage.
Additionally, the 2017 Microsoft Surface Phone will be compatible with a Surface Studio or Surface Book. It is also said that the upcoming devices will have Windows 10 Mobile as its Operating System plus a keyboard support. The HP Elite x3 is a hybrid between a mobile PC and a smartphone which as well serves as an indication that Microsoft still has plans to stay in the phone market.
The 2017 Microsoft Surface Phone has been considered as the giant tech company's return to the smartphone industry. It has expressed its frustration before with its connection with Nokia Lumia which should not be considered a Windows phone. The non-performance of Nokia Lumia brought loss of income to Microsoft leading to the cutting of jobs.
According to Forbes, Microsoft once had a bumpy road with the Surface brand, however; it has now three 'best in class' devices that showcase some of the highest specifications, most elegant design touches and a plethora of critical commendation.
The Surface Pro 4 combines the best features of a tablet with an extremely portable PC. The Surface Book has a high specs laptop more focused on business having a tablet-like screen which is detachable. Lastly, the Surface Studio drives the desktop computer to the superlative conclusion and all of them have Windows 10 OS.
Whatever the reason, speculations, and rumors, the 2017 Microsoft Surface Phone does exist. Although there are no actual details were given regarding the concrete specifications of the upcoming handset, it is anticipated to be released by the second quarter of 2017.
