"Once Upon A Time" will air its winter finale next Sunday on ABC. The episode, titled "Wish You Were Here" is an hour that could ultimately answer whether or not the Storybrooke residents can defeat the Evil Queen.
To preview what's ahead, Entertainment Weekly has shared the logline of the episode. It reads:
When she learns that our heroes possess a weapon capable of defeating her, the Evil Queen steals Aladdin's magic lamp from Jasmine and makes a wish that could sideline the Savior forever. Unwilling to wake Snow while Emma is missing, David works with Hook and Henry to hold the Evil Queen at bay in Storybrooke as Regina goes on a rogue rescue mission. Meanwhile, Gold and Belle face a surprising danger to their newborn son.
It's palpable that the Evil Queen will play a major role on Once Upon A Time's winter finale. While this is the case, co-showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed that hope will still find its way to Storybrooke in the middle of the chaos.
"Hope returns to Storybrooke in the form of a magical wish," the showrunners previewed.
"But of course, like all magic, it comes with a price - and this price upends the world of all of our fairy tale heroes and villains as they are thrown into an adventure involving new worlds, old loves, and an impending destiny that can no longer be ignored."
In addition, the first look photos of "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 Episode 10 were also released. The couple of images feature Emma, Charming, Snow and Henry donning royalty costumes.
At this point, it's unclear if the photos are taken from a dream sequence or from a new storyline the show has set-up. The showrunners did not comment about the images.
Once Upon A Time Season 6 Episode 10 titled "Wish You Were Here" airs on Sunday, Dec. 4 on ABC.
