One of the major features of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is its challenges that involve the entire community. And the first global challenge is for all the trainers to catch a total of 100 million Pokemons.
It would seem impossible to catch 100 million Pokemons, but as the name "global challenge" implies, it means all the gamers playing Pokemon should catch a collective 100 million Pokemons, Tech Times reported.
A global mission is a "Pokemon Sun and Moon" event where all the trainers in the community can work as a whole to reach a goal, and in turn, win prizes.
The challenge will last for only two weeks, which starts from now up to December 13, Gamespot reported. According to the official announcements, to make sure that the Pokemon players get are counted, they should use Game Sync by the end of the two weeks, which is on December 13.
Everyone who contributed to the catch will get 1,000 Festival Coins, but if the goal is not met, the players who contributed will only get 100 Festival Coins. Plus, all the Pokemon they captured, which they probably don't need.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is expected to give out more global missions soon. However, there are no concrete reports as to how often these challenges will be given.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" recently launched earlier on November with a positive welcome from fans.
Fans who want to participate in the global challenge should first register their game using the Pokemon Global Link and sign up for a Game Sync ID.
Step one is to connect their Nintendo 3DS online and start the "Pokemon Sun and Moon." After that they must open the X menu and click the Festival Plaza. Then they should enter the caste, which can be found in the middle.
Once in the castle, the player will see a PC. Interact with the PC and choose Game Sync. Click the "yes" option to link online and then choose "Create your Game Sync ID."
Players will know if their registration is successful, when they see their Game Sync ID on top of the screen.
