Fans around the world are devastated after YG Entertainment announced that the K-pop group 2NE1 is officially disbanding. Following the news, 2NE1 member Park Bom share her thoughts with fans on Twitter.
On Nov. 30, the 32-year old singer posted a letter to 2NE1 fans all over the world, regarding her thoughts on the group's disbandment. The letter was written by Bom herself.
In her Twitter post, the letter translates, "Fans~ Aroung the world... Hello this is Bom, whom you fans have always loved and protected... Our Blackjacks! You really waited so long for us, it's regrettable and I have nothing to say other than sorry," Allkpop reported.
The letter continues to reveal that Bom even prepared various things to show to their fans for their comeback, however, some things doesn't always go as planned. Bom then wrapped up her letter by thanking their fans, stressing that their memories together will never be forgotten.
As reported earlier by Soompi, fellow band mates CL and Dara also took to Twitter a heartwarming letter for their Blackjacks. The 25-year old Chaelin Lee, posted her letter in English.
In her letter, CL reminded the fans that 2NE1 will always be around and that they are always one team, one family. Minzy, Dara, and Bom may be doing great things on their own, but I will always love and support them, CL revealed.
CL also explained that YG Entertainment and 2NE1 really tried their best to make things work out. She was even in Korea all summer working for their album, however, things fell apart. 2NE1's leader then wrapped up her letter by saying I love you, multiple times saying she misses the Blackjacks more than ever.
Dara soon followed with a handwritten note address to their Blackjacks. The 32-year old singer asked their fans for forgiveness for the heart ache they had caused, saying she's sorry for hurting their feelings.
2NE1's fresh vocals continued to reveal that they tried to give Blackjacks some great music one last time to show how thankful they are for supporting them for the past seven years. However, they are unable to and that they are very sorry.
Dara then thank the fans for giving her so much love more than she deserve. She ended up her letter with a note "Written in November 2016, to be remembered as the loneliest of winters."
