Following sexual assault controversy involving Lee Se Young, netizens are wondering whether the "SNL Korea" comedian will be investigated for her act towards K-Pop idols.

While the "SNL Korea" staff and Lee herself already extended their apology to B1A4 for the recent sexual assault controversy, the boy group remained vague with their response, stating they would like to focus on their promotions instead.

A few days after the sexual assault controversy surfaced on the internet, Lee took to her Instagram account to upload a handwritten apology to B1A4 and their fans. "I will reflect on my actions again and again so something like this does not happen again. I really am sincerely sorry," the comedian said.

On the other hand, B1A4 refused to address whether they have forgiven Lee for her act on "SNL Korea" or not. However, the boy group acknowledged the apology from the staff and the comedian.

"We've received plenty of apology from the "SNL Korea" staff and Lee Se Young. As this is our first comeback in a long time, we want to focus on our promotions. We'll do our best with our "Lie" promotions," B1A4 said as per Soompi.

The Korean boy group apologized for causing worry among their fans because of the controversy on "SNL Korea." B1A4 also would like to assure their followers that they will try to avoid the same thing from happening again.

However, it appears that fans want Lee to be held accountable for her inappropriate acts not only towards B1A4, but also to other K-Pop groups like INFINITE and Block B. Addressing the matter, FNC Entertainment said they will cooperate with any investigation needed in line with the controversy, Allkpop noted.

"We have not been contacted by the police yet. However, we will cooperate with the investigation if requested by the police," the agency said.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Lee will be leaving "SNL Korea" following the sexual assault controversy. However, producer of the show denied the reports and said they have not talked about such plan.
