A week after being admitted to the hospital due to exhaustion, Kanye West is finally home.
The 39-year-old rapper checked out of UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles with Kim Kardashian, BBC reported. The Grammy-winning music artist voluntarily checked himself in after suffering from temporary psychosis brought by dehydration and sleep deprivation.
Kanye was admitted to the hospital just a few hours after cancelling the rest of the schedules in his Saint Pablo Tour, E! Online reported. That time, he was with personal trainer Harley Pasternak's house in LA.
During that time, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to what supposedly was a disturbance, but it later on turned out to be a medical emergency.
There are unconfirmed reports claiming that Kanye West was handcuffed, which is a standard protocol for cases of involuntary psychiatric hold. In a case like that, the patients are considered a danger to themselves and the people around them. Dispatch call from the Fire Department recorded the incident as "psychiatric emergency."
The cancelation of his tour got fans disappointed. Even his performance at Sacramento, California didn't satisfy fans as he only performed songs and ranted for 10 minutes against former collaborator Jay Z and wife Beyonce.
In another show, he also said bad things against Hilary Clinton and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. He also subtly endorsed new President Donald Trump.
Fortunately, reports on Tuesday afternoon say the rapper is doing better. According to reports from and insider, doctors ordered the rapper to not use computers and phones.
The insider said West was suffering from mental exhaustion and it finally took a toll on him. Kanye was on the verge of quiting a few times during his tour, especially during the time Kim Kardashian was robbed at gun point in Paris.
Now he is home with wife and children, according to reports. Kanye West seems to have strong support from his family. One family members like Kim Kardashian's sister Kendall Jenner said during a Victoria's Show in Paris that they have been praying for the rapper's health.
Meanwhile, Kendall Jenner told the media that Kanye is OK, and that everyone is doing fine.
