Are you ready for SEVENTEEN? The group is almost back with their latest song. Yesterday, a teaser for their title track "BOOMBOOM" was unveiled.
On Dec. 2, SEVENTEEN released their first music video for their title track "BOOMBOOM" at midnight KST, as reported by Soompi. In the video, we can see the group is actively searching for something after the short intro.
"BOOMBOOM" is one of the eight tracks that will be included in the group's third EP, "GOING SEVENTEEN." Their EP will be released in three versions: "Make a Wish," "Make it Happen," and "Make the Seventeen."
According to Yonhap News, since November, the group has been revealing concept images as well as the complete track list of their upcoming EP through their official Twitter account. These update are part of the many promotional activities of the group to come.
The group has also released their single "Check In" last month as a prologue to their upcoming EP, "GOING SEVENTEEN." Also, their "1st Asia Tour 2016 Shining Diamonds," has sold a total of 13,000 tickets with venues including Japan, Singapore, Australia, and China.
SEVENTEEN debuted in the music scene in 2015 with their debut EP "17 Carat." The EP ranked in the Billboard World Albums chart for a total of eleven weeks making it the year's longest charting K-pop album.
Divided into three sub-units, the thirteen member band is composed of leader S.Coups, Jun, DK, Hoshi, The8, Mingyu, Dino, Jeonghan, Woozi, Seungkwan, Joshua, Vernon, and Wonwoo. SEVENTEEN is divided according to the members' expertise - hiphop, vocal, and performance.
"GOING SEVENTEEN" is slated for release on Monday Dec. 5 at midnight KST.
