"Star Wars Battlefront 2" release date likely to happen earlier than "Battlefield" sequel. EA DICE confirmed that they will prioritize "Battlefront 2."
In an interview with EA's chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen, EA DICE has been overwhelmed with how much admiration that "Star Wars Battlefront" received last year. With that being, the game developers would like whatever issues they may have on the game.
Aside from an exciting "Star Wars Battlefront 2" release date, players may expect for more movie adaptation of the game as another movie will be shown in a few weeks. Also, more movie contents will be added too on its storyline, Gamespot reported.
"The other thing is, we were really working with the old canvas of Star Wars, the old trilogy, we weren't using any of the new materials that came out of [Episode 8] because our game actually came out slightly before the movie," Jorgensen said.
On the other hand, "Star Wars Battlefront Rouge One: Scariff" DLC trailer has been released. The said expansion will bring new contents based on "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Two new playable characters are also added Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic as well as a new multi-stage-mode that allows players to shift from space to ground assault and four new maps.
The said DLC will be released to players who purchased the game's Season Pass on December 06,a and will be accessible for other players who purchased the DLC two weeks after, according to Videogamer.
Although EA DICE has announced that "Battlefield" sequel won't come out in a couple of years, "Star Wars Battlefront 2" release date on 2017 is yet to be confirmed. The sequel is expected to be playable on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
