"After Earth" actor Jaden Smith professed his admiration for BIGBANG's G-Dragon. The American rapper and actor is also known for his 2010 film "The Karate Kid."
Previously, upon their visit to South Korea, the 18-year old actor and his father Will Smith have demonstrated their admiration and love for the whole YG Entertainment family. They even had a father-and-son bonding with K-pop stars PSY, CL of 2NE1, BIGBANG's G-Dragon and Taeyang, among others.
Apparently, it appears that Jaden's fondness towards G-Dragon has remained strong over the years as he left a very meaningful tweet about the BIGBANG member. On Dec. 7, Jaden took to Twitter his admiration towards the K-pop idol, saying, "G-Dragon Is My Inspiration," Allkpop reported.
We can recall that Jaden and his father visited South Korea in 2013 to promote their movie "After Earth." Rumors also surfaced previously that a musical production involving the YG family is under way for their post-apocalyptic movie, however, there has no reports confirming the said production.
The young actor together with his siblings are also youth ambassadors for Project Zambi, which provides assistance in conjunction with Hasbro for Zambian children orphaned by the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Hasbro revealed. The project is dedicated in raising awareness of the estimated 15 million African children who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic.
Jaden made his career debut in the 2006 film "Pursuit of Happyness," playing the role of Christopher, the son of Chirs Gardner (Will). In this role, Jaden won the award for "Breakthrough Performance" during the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.
In 2013, Jaden and Kim Kardashian's younger sister, Kylie Jenner started dating. The 19-year old reality TV personality even wrote on her social media account, "Although we can't remember exactly when we met, I couldn't be more grateful that we did." However, the couple broke up the following year.
