Meizu has officially launched the Meizu M5 Note Smartphone in China. Post the official Meizu M5 launch event, the techies had compared the new M5 Note to its predecessor, the "Meizu M3 Note," which was launched only a few months ago.
According to The Verge, the Meizu M5 Note is about 0.1mm thinner than the previously launched, the Meizu M3 Note. In addition, both the Meizu smartphones have a 1080p 5.5-inch display along with an Helio P10 Chipset and a highly efficient 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-toned LED flash. However, the Meizu M5 Note has a smaller battery of 4000 mAh instead of 4100mAH battery that was housed in the Meizu M3 Note.
Their report also suggested that the Meizu M5 Note has a fingerprint sensor and a neat dual-SIM plus micro SD card tray.
Currently, the Meizu M5 Note smartphone is available in three variants classified on the basis of RAM and storage bundles- the 3GB RAM with 16 GB storage, 3 GB RAM with 32GB storage and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The top-of-the-edge variant is available for CNY 1,499 ; while the others are available for CNY 999 and CNY 899 respectively.
The Meizu M5 Note runs on the newly released Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, the Flyme OS 6. It supports an all-metal body which houses the fingerprint recognition integrated home Button, which the Meizu claims can unlock the phone within 0.2 seconds, reported the Gadget 360.
This Meizu smartphone comes with the mCharge fast charging support, which claims to fully charge the 4,000 mAh battery of Meizu M5 Note within 90 minutes. In addition, the phone is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor that has been paired with a powerful Mali T860 GPU from ARM to provide a glitch-free experience to Meizu M5 Note users.
The Meizu M5 Note comes with a hybrid dual SIM slot that can even support 4G VoLTE. The phone weighs 175 grams and measures 153.6 X 75.8 X 8.15 mm. The Meizu M5 Note is available in 4 color options, namely Grey, Silver, Champagne Gold and Blue.
The Meizu M5 Note price in India is estimated to be about Rs. 8,900 for 3GB RAM/ 16GB storage and Rs. 9,900 for 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage.
The Meizu M5 Note can be pre-ordered in India. But, the smartphone would be available for sale on Thursday.
