A complete "Haruchika" Live Action trailer of Sei Hatsuno's mystery novel series "Haruta and Chika," has just been rolled out on the movie's official website.
The recently posted 90-second "Haruchika" Live Action Trailer focuses on the relationship between Sei Hatsuno's mystery novel, "Haruta and Chika's" two main characters, Chika Homura and Haruta Kamijo.
According to CrunchyRoll, actress and Japanese Idol singer Kanna Hashimoto has been roped in to play the role of protagonist Chika, while Shori Sato of "One Piece Episode of Nami: Kōkaishi no Namida to Nakama no Kizuna" fame has been chosen to play Haruta. 19-year-old Shori is a popular Sexy Zone Idol group member and 17-year-old Kanna is a DVL idol group member.
"Blindly in Love" director Masahide Ichii has directed the upcoming Sei Hatsuno's Haruta And Chika Live Action film.
As per Asian Wiki, the plot of "Haruchika" revolves around gorgeous and smart Haruta and bright yet naïve Chika, who happen to be childhood friends. Unfortunately, the two protagonists of the "Haruchika" Live Action Trailer get separated by fate as Haruta' family moves out of town when he was in the 3rd grade. Years later, they get to see each other during a high school entrance ceremony, when Haruta's wind instrument club is on the verge of getting disbanded. Chika's flute attracts Haruta to her side and they make efforts to bring the members back to the wind instrument club.
However, Crunchyroll's post suggests that the "Haruchika" Live Action Trailer film would be a continuation of the plot of Sei Hatsuno's "Haruchika." It would cover a new perspective about Chika's breakdown and recovery, their post suggested. In addition, they reported that the mystery novel by Sei Hatsuno had not covered this part of the story.
The new "Haruchika" Live Action Trailer suggests that the storyline would stretch beyond the anticipated mystery-solving elements to cover a friendship-turned-to-love relation shared by Chika and Haruta. The film is all set to be released in Japan on March 4, 2017.
