A new anime is coming soon and it will feature a character transported to a world of gaming. "Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody" is finally getting an anime adaptation after years of release as a light novel and manga series.
From Light Novel to Anime
According to Anime News Network a brand new anime series is coming soon and it will become part of the increasingly popular storyline of a person unknowingly transported to a world of gaming. The upcoming anime is titled "Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody" and it follows the story of a computer programmer named Suzuki.
The upcoming anime series started off as a light novel by Hiro Ainana and the first volume of the series was released on 2014. The novel eventually got its manga adaptation and the first volume was released on April 2015. The announcement of the anime adaptation of the manga and light novel series was published on the manga's fourth volume release.
Gaming Anime with a Twist
The upcoming anime series according to Crunchy Roll, is a mix of gaming anime with some harem element. For the unfamiliar, the story revolves around Suzuki who wakes up in a game without any reason. He finds out he is only a level one character but he soon becomes wealthy and powerful after a series of spells he knows about the game.
With his newfound riches, he decided to go on a tour for a little bit of sightseeing. He is not travelling alone since he will have five lady companions that will guide him along the way. Because of his powers, he will have to face some enemies from time to time but the element of harem is always there.
