Former MBLAQ member Thunder has recently confessed his thoughts about his sister Dara in an interview.
Thunder revealed that he is currently living with Dara. Furthermore, he also opened up that he has a very close relationship with the former 2NE1 member.
“Currently, I'm living with Dara noona. To me, she has a strong image as an older sister, and we don't worry about each other because we have trust in each other… Home is a place to rest, so noona and I don't talk about work-related things at all [at home]," said Thunder as quoted by All Kpop.
The 26-year-old artist has recently released the music video of debut single titled “Sign” in collaboration with South Korean singer and actress Goo Hara. In the video released on the official YouTube page of 1theK, Thunder and Goo showcased their undeniable chemistry as well as the beautiful combination of their voice blended with the upbeat tune. In fact, Dara also appeared in several scenes playing as her brother’s sidekick.
According to Thunder as quoted by All Kpop: "My older sister (Dara) played the most important role in my MV. She said she wanted to help me".
He added: "There was a kiss in the scene where my sister appears. How could I have skinship in front of a family member? I didn't think it was right, so it was hard. I filmed it while shivering."
Born as Park Sang Hyun, Thunder started his entertainment career in 2009 after joining MBLAQ alongside Seung Ho, G.O, Lee Joon and Mir. The group was officially introduced to the public in at Rain's “Legend of Rainism” concert. Along with their debut, the group released their single album “Just BLAQ” together with the music video of their single "Oh Yeah".
