Funcom has released a new trailer of the upcoming open world survival game "Conan Exiles," mostly tackling on survival.
Based on reports by Dualshockers, the new trailer of "Conan Exiles" features mostly on survival, along with a few gameplay fundamentals as your character grows from a hopeless exile to a fearsome tyrant.
Here, it features your characters combatting potential captives called "thralls" and capturing them and either forcing them into submission or recruiting them. These thralls can do a variety of tasks like crafting, defending your settlements or even giving you entertainment to ease your sanity everytime you return from journeying into dark and horrifying dungeons that the ancient and mystical lands of Hyboria can conjure.
In the trailer, we also get to see establishing numerous buildings and settlements. Another thing it features is surviving against the harsh elements of the world such as a deadly sandstorm that can kill you if you don't have the proper equipment or shelter to survive it. Eventually once your character reaches enough experience or prestige, you can summon a powerful avatar, the ultimate weapon to rain down hell upon enemies.
"The open-world survival genre is ripe for Conan's conquest," stated the game director Joel Bylos mentioned in an earlier report. "If there ever was a world that can truly test your strength and skill, it is the brutal and savage world of Conan the Barbarian. Conan Exiles is not just an empty sandbox, it is a world rich in history where you must discover the secrets of ancient civilizations as you struggle to build your own."
Over the period of the game's development, a lot of graphical and content improvements have been made to ensure the best kind of gameplay players could ever have.
"Conan Exiles" will enter Early Access on Steam on Jan. 31 and Xbox One preview sometime in Spring 2017.
