Amitabh Bachchan's highly anticipated film "Te3n" will release a day after his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's movie "Sarbjit." Several media outlets hint at a big box office clash in Bachchan family this May.
Recently, Amitabh shared the release date of his upcoming film with his 19 million followers on Twitter. On Jan. 19, Amitabh posted a picture of him and revealed the date. He wrote: "T 2118 - #TE3NtheFILM .. releasing May 20, 2016 .. 2 months non stop shoot and out to the audience .. SUPER !"

Amitabh's "Te3n" will go head to head with Aishwarya's "Sarbjit," which releases on May 19. On Jan. 14, "Sarbjit" director Omung Kumar retweeted his wife's tweet that revealed the release date of the biopic.

Helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, Big B's "Te3n" stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan. It is said to be a suspense thriller. However, the official synopsis for the same is yet to be released. The cast and crew is currently shooting in North Kolkata.
Recently, the actor tweeted some pictures from the set of "Te3n" with a backdrop of a procession for Durga Pooja in the congested lanes of Kolkata.

On the other hand, "Sarbjit" is a biopic depicting the story of an Indian national who was convicted of planning a terrorist attack and espionage by Supreme Court of Pakistan. In real life, Sarabjit, a farmer, claimed to have accidentally crossed the Indian border. After his trial, he was sentenced to death. Unfortunately, he lost his life much before that after being attacked by his prison mates. It is said that he succumbed to injuries in a hospital six days after being beaten up in the jail.
Helmed by Omung Kumar, "Mary Kom" famed director, "Sarbjit" stars Aishwarya in the leading role of Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur. Actor Randeep Hooda plays the titular role, Darshan Kumar portrays the Pakistani Lawyer Khalid Pervaiz, and actress Richa Chaddha will be seen playing the role of Sarabjit Singh's wife Sukhpreet Kaur."
The film will also be screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
In related news, a source is telling The Reveille that Hooda is "tremendously impressed" by Aishwarya. Actress' "co-star professionalism and commitment" have really earned Hooda's admiration.
