‘Dolce Amore’ spoilers: Matteo Guidicelli, Cherie Gil confirmed to star alongside Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil

"Dolce Amore" is one of the much-awaited TV shows in the Philippines, and it has just been confirmed that Matteo Guidecilli has been tapped for a role.

According to ABS-CBN, Filipino actress Liza Soberano and her onscreen partner Enrique Gil were previously confirmed to play the lead roles on the series.

Guidicelli, Cherie Gil and Frenchie Dy were confirmed recently.

The latter previously shared some photos with her co-stars via her official Instagram page.

Guidicelli aso shared a handful of photos taken during their filming in Rome.

Meanwhile, Soberano will play the role of Serena, an Italian princess who wants to live a simple life as much as possible.

Gil plays the role of Tenten, a Manila boy who works hard to provide for his family.

"Dolce Amore" is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

In other news, ABS-CBN just dropped a teaser from the upcoming series which showed fans some information as to what they can expect from the new show.

"The phenomenal love team that made us believe in forever. We loved them every day just the way they are," the voice over from the clip could be heard saying.

The next scene showed Serena wearing a beautiful white gown looking at herself in the mirror.

"Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a princess na sinasabi nila was the fairest of them all, so fair that everyone wanted to be with her. To be like her, pero ang hindi alam nang lahat, the princess really just wanted to be, well, normal and ordinary," the voice over added.

The next scene introduced Gil's character Tenten.

"Once there was a man whose blood was neither royal or blue. He was as ordinary as ordinary can be. But if there was one thing extraordinary about him, it was his heart that made him special..."

"Dolce Amore" will premiere on ABS-CBN sometime this year.
