The JYJ member picked songs that will represent all the stage characters he portrayed for the past six years as a musical actor. As a result, his performance was like a musical where he narrates his own story as a singer.
His company rep added that Kim did his best to portray at least seven characters on stage. The singer reportedly pulled it off very nicely, that his fans were very impressed with the performance.
During the talk part of the concert, Kim mentioned about his upcoming military enlistment, "I find it ironic to be wearing a military uniform for my ‘Tears of Heaven' performance because this concert is my last musical and ballad concert before my enlistment," he said.
Kim further said that he will think of his military service as taking a short break from his entertainment life. He also assured his fans that he will come back healthy and he will repay them again for the love and support they gave him through the years.
Kim's "2016 XIA Ballad&Musical Concert with Orchestra vol.5" event was staged from on Dec. 9 to 11. This will be his last official concert before leaving to serve his country for two years.
