On the other hand, the plot of "Dragon Ball Z: Kai" series featured in the Toonami marathon moves around Goku, who meets his older brother Raditz. Raditz had revealed to him that they were the members of "Saiyans," who were a nearly extinct extraterrestrial race. He also tells him about the fact that Goku had been sent as an infant to conquer the planet Earth. However, due to a head injury he had lost his blood-thirsty Saiyan instincts and at that moment he refuses to help Raditz. He teams up with Piccolo, sacrifices his life to defeat him. A year later, he is revived by Dragon Balls and trained to save the planet earth from the vengeance of Saiyan prince Vegeta.
