BIGBANG has a new achievement with one of their music videos. The group recently hit a 100 million views on the video-sharing website YouTube.
On Dec. 14, the group's music video for "Bad Boy" hit a whopping 100 million views on YouTube. Although it's not the group's first music video to hit such views, as their music videos such as "Loser," "BANG BANG BANG," and "Fantastic Baby," previously transcend the same milestone, Soompi reported.
Another music video that surpassed the 100 million views on YouTube is G-Dragon and Taeyang's "Good Boy." The song was released in November 2014 as the second over-all hip hop project from YG Entertainment.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG recently confirmed their guest appearance on MBC's variety show, "Weekly Idol." The group's label, YG Entertainment, released an official statement confirming the group's appearance in the show which will be aired in 2017.
"It is true that BIGBANG has refrained from appearing on some variety shows over the past few years, but this time, it seems that the views of the two representatives were different. The members of the group also accepted the proposal, and after careful consideration, we decided to participate in the three programs including 'Radio Star,' and 'Infinite Challenge'," YG United reported.
It is worth noting that BIGBANG recently released their comeback album "MADE," last Dec. 13 at midnight KST. Following its release, the album's title tracks "FXXK IT" and "Last Dance," including their new song "Girlfriend" nabs the top three spots on Korea's prime charts.
Internationally, "MADE" got the 3rd rank on iTunes album chart in the United States, while, ranking 5th in Canada. Also, the album recently got the top rank globally on iTunes with nineteen countries.
"MADE" is the group's first Korean studio album in eight years. "Remember," the group's first ever full length album was released in 2008.
