FNC Entertainment CEO Han Sung Ho recently sat down for an interview to talk about how the past year was for the agency and what their plans are for the coming year. Han also addressed the recent wave of controversies that their artists were faced with.

In 2016, FNC Entertainment suffered from a string of shocking scandals including some of its biggest stars. In May, AOA members Seolhyun and Jimin came under fire after they appeared to be lacking knowledge on history. CNBLUE frontman Yonghwa faced investigations for his involvement in insider trading at the agency. More recently, comedian Lee Se Young was accused of molesting male idols on "SNL Korea."

In response to the scandals, FNC Entertainment CEO Han Sung Ho said it was difficult for the company and the artists that were caught in them. Nevertheless, Han assured that they have learned from it.

"It will make me a more mature, experienced leader. It was also a chance to make the bond among artists, staffs, and myself stronger," Han said about the experience, allkpop quoted.

Addressing Lee Se Young's controversy, Han said that the comedian was very sorry for actions and that she accepted her wrongdoing. Since the groping incident, Lee had issued an apology.

"I am sorry for disturbing many people because of my wrong actions on 'SNL Korea'. I apologized to each member on site, and I want to apologize once again to all the fans and the members," Lee wrote in a letter, allkpop reported.

Despite a troublesome 2016 for FNC Entertainment, Han is looking forward to a better future for the company. He shared that AOA is scheduled to release the group's first ever full-length album. AOA's album release will be the first agenda on FNC's 2017 calendar. The company also plans to branch into drama production.
