Earlier this month, it was revealed that Kung Fu Panda 3" star Jack Black will be guest starring on super hit Korean reality variety show "Infinite Challenge." It seems the Hollywood actor has already filmed the episode and the sneak peeks are out. Read on for the full scoop.
Jack Black is currently on Asia tour to promote his upcoming movie "Kung Fu Panda 3" also starring Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Kate Hudson, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, James Hong, and Bryan Cranston as voiceover actors. The actor recently visited Korea where he filmed the highly anticipated episode of the fan-favourite show.
According to Soompi, MBC's "Infinite Challenge" episode starring Jack Black was filmed on Jan. 21 and its preview was unveiled after the Jan. 23 episode. In the preview, Jack Black is accompanied by the cast members as he arrives at "School of Variety" where all the fun begins.
The 46-year-old Hollywood actor looks his usual self. He is funny and energetic as he participates in games, pillow fights, dance and other contests. As reported, he can also be seen performing popular dance moves inspired by chart-topping K-pop party number "Gangnam Style." He even attempts to talk in Korean.
The preview also gives a glimpse of comedian Sam Hammington and host of Non-Summit talk show Sam Okyre. The Jack Black special "Infinite Challenge" Season 4 episode will air on Jan. 30 on MBC and it will mark the 465th episode. Scroll down to watch the sneak peek of the forthcoming instalment.
Meanwhile, Koogle TV is reporting that Jack Black's trip to Korea also included a red carpet event and live movie discussion. Following which, he filmed the "Infinite Challenge" episode. It is reported that the crew had such a good time with Black that they all decided to accompany him to the airport where they bid goodbye to the actor.
Black is a noted comedian, musician as well as a producer in Hollywood. He is well known for his works in movies like "High Fidelity," "Shallow Hal," "Scholl of Rock," "Kung Fu Panda films," "Goosebumps" and more. He is a Golden Globe awards nominated actor. He is not the first international star to appear in "Infinite Challenge." Thierry Henry, Maria Sharapova, Paris Hilton and Ryan Seacrest are some of the other celebrities who have guest starred on the enormously popular show.
