Kim Yoo Jung is rushed to the emergency room. The 17-year old actress stars in her upcoming movie "Because I Love You" along with "My Sassy Girl" actor Cha Tae Hyun.
The production company in charge of Kim's upcoming film revealed, "Kim Yoo Jung's cold worsened after completing the 1 night 2 day-long promotion even in Hong Kong. Ultimately, she was sent to the emergency room for treatment last night," Allkpop reported.
Furthermore, the production company added that Kim's situation is nothing serious. However, the actress is exceptionally exhausted from her busy schedule.
Kim's scheduled interview scheduled on Dec. 22 for "Because I Love You" is now cancelled. This is to let the actress rest and recuperate her health.
The upcoming movie "Because I Love You" is about a songwriter Lee Hyeong (Cha), who happens to connect people who are not good in love by taking over someone's body. A high school student named Scully (Kim) will helps Lee Hyeong's spirit.
During the movie's promotional press conference, Kim commented about Cha's image in a girl's uniform. "I wasn't kidding when I said Cha Tae Hyun's legs are pretty. When you look at his legs from the back, they're really long and slim," Yonhap News quoted Kim as saying.
It is worth noting that this is not the first the two actors worked together in one project. The 40-year old actor previously had a cameo role in Kim and Park Bo Gum's historical drama "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds."
The KBS2 drama is a coming-of-age story and youth romance set during the 19th century Joseon Dynasty. Based on the novel with the same title, the drama started airing on Aug. 22 at KBS and wraps up after eighteen episodes on Oct. 18.
Kim and Cha's upcoming movie "Because I Love You" is slated for release early next year, Jan. 4. The movie is produced by AD406, where Cha's brother is the president.
