During a press conference to talk about his current film "Master," Kim Woo Bin looked back to his recently-ended drama "Uncontrollably Fond" and how the project affected his views in life.
Kpopherald reported Kim admitted filming "Uncontrollably Fond" was difficult for almost the entire cast, considering that the drama series was pre-produced. He added that they were also pressured to meet the expectations of the fans who consider the KBS2 drama as a rival of "Descendants of the Sun."
Despite the pressure and difficulty, the actor said he enjoyed the filming of the drama series. "I met many new fans through "Uncontrollably Fond." I count it as one of the three best shows I was in. It's that dear to me," Kim added.
The actor also talked about his character on "Uncontrollably Fond" as a person with terminal ill. Kim shared the role made him realize of the value of life. "It was a time I had profound thoughts about what life is. I realized I had been negligent and ungrateful about my health," he cited.
Kim continued, "There are people who are struggling for their life even as we speak. Without "Uncontrollably Fond," I would not have been able to feel so thankful for what I have."
The 27-year-old actor currently stars in a crime-action film titled "Master." Kim shares the big screen with Lee Byung Hun and Kang Dong Won. According to Soompi, Kim admitted he got inspiration from Beyoncé for the film.
"There aren't many times I've danced in front of people, so I recorded myself dancing at home and showed it to the director. My concept was Beyoncé," the actor shamelessly said.
"Master" hit the theaters of South Korea on Dec. 19 and will showcase in Australia, United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan in January 2017.
