After serving his military service for 21 months, Super Junior's Shindong is finally relieved from his duty on Dec. 23.
According to Allkpop, Shindong appeared before the media on the day he was relieved; however, reports claimed there was no special events planned for the Super Junior's completion of his military service.
The 31-year-old Super Junior started his military service on March 24, 2015. After his military duty, SM Entertainment announced Shindong is set to return to his entertainment career. The label added the idol will make a comeback on reality travel show "Battle Trip" with co-member Leeteuk.
In fact, Leeteuk showed up and fetched Shindong after he was discharged, Koreaboo cited. Apparently, Shindong was unaware his co-member would appear to pick him up right after he was relieved; yet, the idol remained calm and obeyed Leeteuk.

SM Entertainment said Shindong will be heading home after his "Battle Trip" filming with Leeteuk.
Meanwhile, Super Junior's Sungmin is expected to be relieved from his military service on Dec. 30, while Siwon, Eunhyuk and Donghae will complete their military duties in 2017.
On the other hand, Ryeowook has just completed his recruitment training after five weeks on Dec. 1. The Super Junior member reportedly will serve in the military band and is expected to complete his military duty in July 2018.
