Hallyu star Kim Woo Bin has recently expressed his amusement in an interview after Wang Yeo, a character played by Lee Dong Wook, mentioned his name in the hit TV drama series “Goblin”.
“I was really surprised. I sent a text to [Kim Eun Sook] right away. Wow~ it was really fun. And for my name to be included on top of that. I wrote ‘Fighting!’ to [Kim Eun Sook]. Since my name came up I said, ‘Thank you very much,’ and Kim Eun Sook said, ‘Buy me a meal in return,” shared Kim as quoted by Soompi.
He also voiced out his gratitude to renowned South Korean screen writer Kim Eun Sook. According to the actor: “Since we worked together in ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity‘ and ‘Heirs,’ we have kept in touch. I am so thankful because we worked on projects that helped many people get to know the name ‘Kim Woo Bin.’ She’s like a benefactor. I don’t know if there is a way to do this, but I really want to repay her.”
Kim is one of the cast members in the recently released action film titled “Master”which unfolds an exhaustive invistigation to a company named Won Network which was involved in a massive fraud case. Joining him in the series are South Korea’s premier stars including Lee Byung Hun, Gang Dong Won, Uhm Ji Won, Oh Dal-Su, and Jin Kyung, reports say.
The 27-year-old star started his entertainment career in as a runway model in 2001. He rose to fame after being casted in numerous acting projecys “A Gentleman's Dignity ”, and “The Heirss Friend: The Great Legacy” and also won awards like “Best Dresser Award “I’m” Popularity Award”and Popular Star Award"
