HBO's most popular TV series, "Game of Thrones", is about to hit its seventh season this coming 2017 and its delay for airing is just making fans more excited about what's in store for the show. So far, John Bradley and Hannah Murray's characters (Sam and Gilly) were spotted filming, as they go out of Oldtown.
In an article published by Screen Rant, fans are in it for a surprise as the show marks its seventh season with more adventures and intriguing storyline after its delay. But it would appear that the delay in filming was intentionally delayed to give way for more winter scenes, as the new plot would require more of it.
Sam and Gilly were the first ones to be seen on the set of this new season of "Game of Thrones," and based on the photos taken, it looks like they are about to meet up with their friends in the Northern part. Their outfit kind of gave it away, as they seem to be all geared up for an even colder venue. The two were seen eating a pizza during their break time with a child that looks like an extra on the show.

This new season will only have seven episodes in which Matt Shakman will direct episodes 4 and 5. Season 8 will mark the show's ending because according to Comicbook, there are only 13 episodes left until it is completely done. The word on the street is that a spin-off might come up to continue the franchise. There is no confirmation from the network or the producers yet as of the moment with regards to that topic.
It has been a good year for "Game of Thrones"a nd critics only have positive things to say about the series, as it continues to deliver great quality just like how it did when it started. Stay tuned for more updates.
