It seems like L.E.G.O members will have to wait a little longer for the comeback of EXID after Solji was diagnosed of hyperthyroidism.
On Dec. 20, Banana Culture Entertainment announced Solji has to rest and receive treatment for hyperthyroidism. Prior to that, the EXID member reportedly showed symptoms like fever, protruding eyeballs and other signs which led her to seek for medical examination, Allkpop cited.
Fans became worried of the idol after the agency made the announcement; hence, Solji took to her Instagram account the following day to reassure them of her condition. "I'm going to take medication and get better quickly, so do not worry too much," she wrote.
The EXID member continued with an apology to L.E.G.O members for causing them to worry. Solji also expressed her dismay that she could not join her co-members in their promotional activities.
"I will quickly get better to show all of you my healthy image. Sorry for worrying you. Thank you and I love you!!!" Solji added.
On the other hand, a source affiliated with Banana Culture Entertainment released an update on the current condition of Solji and the comeback plans of EXID, Soompi cited. The agency stated there have made some changes on the schedule of the girl group's return.
"EXID's group comeback plans are being worked out again. While the comeback was planned for the first half of the year, we have to wait for Solji's recovery. However, it seems likely that EXID will be seen as a whole group within the first half of 2017," the source announced.
The source added Solji is receiving medical treatment for hyperthyroidism. Also, the EXID member will join the girl group in their comeback preparations after she fully recovers from the disease.
