The Suns defeated the Knicks 113-111 in overtime.

New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis has already missed second straight game because of sore achilles. While team mate Carmelo Anthony has healed from sore knee and return to the game on Monday night, but the Knicks lost to Orlando Magic.

Porzingis has missed second game in a row due to his problem with Achilles tendon. According to ESPN, he missed the first game in Houston last Saturday on New Year’s eve. Houston Rockets defeated the Knicks 129-122, as Porzingis was out because of discomfort he felt earlier in the morning.

"I woke this morning and from walking around and it was sore and tight," Porzingis said Saturday. "I tried to get it going and warm it up but it didn't feel right. This is the first time.”

He missed the second game this Monday night as the discomfort in his achiles lingered. The New York Knicks announced his missing the game against Orlando Magic as reported by New York Daily News. The New York Knicks prefer to have Porzingis rest for one more game for him to fully recover in the Wednesday game against Milwaukee Bucks.

Orlando Magic defeated the New York Knicks 115-103 at the Madison Square Garden, New York on Monday Jan. 2. The Knicks are now on the fifth losing streak since last week. This is the main reason for the team’s management to allow Porzingis to regain his strength to face the Bucks.

Their opponent Milwaukee Bucks is a strong team which recently neutrailized the Okahoma City Thunder and Russel Westbrook and defeated the Thunder 98-94. The Bucks have two strong centers who are equally good in both defense and offense, John Henson and Greg Monroe. In the game against the Thunder, Henson posted 12 points and 5 rebounds, while Monroe scored 15 points and 7 rebounds off-the-bench.
