"Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" actor Park Bo Gum could not contain his emotions after winning the Male Top Excellence Award at the "2016 KBS Drama Awards" last Dec. 31.
In fact, Park Bo Gum was even crying while delivering his acceptance speech at the stage of "2016 KBS Drama Awards." The actor expressed his gratitude to people who have helped him achieve yet another milestone.
The actor reserved a special mention to "Descendants of the Sun" actor Song Joong Ki, who seemed touched and even teared up while Park Bo Gum was thanking him, Korea Herald reported.
The "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" star said the senior actor was there when he needed advice for his role in the drama series. Park Bo Gum rose to fame after playing as Prince Lee Young on the KBS2 drama.
"I took it as a great honor already that I was nominated alongside reputable seniors. I sincerely thank our beloved viewers for this award," Park Bo Gum said in his acceptance speech.
He went on in thanking his seniors making Song Joong Ki cry. "It was thanks to the dependable seniors I had that I was able to wrap up the character Lee Young," the actor added.
According to Soompi, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor drew the attention of everyone in the ceremony and was asked by a host, "Song Joong Ki, why are you crying so much?"
The actor immediately covered his face while being laughed at by Song Hye Kyo, who was sitting beside him.
On the other hand, Park Bo Gum was questioned about Song Joong Ki's reaction of his acceptance speech. The "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" actor said he wanted to express how thankful he was to the senior actor for the help he has given him while struggling to improve his acting.
