Nintendo Switch is among the much-anticipated consoles right now. Recently, the system has gotten a listing where its rumored release date and price details were leaked.
It has been predicted that Nintendo Switch will be revealed to the public on Jan. 12 at 11 PM ET, Shack News shared. The news outlet added that UK-based game seller GameSeek has also indicated the upcoming console will be having a March 17 release with an initial price tag of $250 USD.
It can be recalled that a Toys R Us branch in Canada has the Nintendo Switch priced at $329.99 CAD, which is roughly $249.30 when converted into US dollar. However, Nintendo insider Laura Kate Dale has also been quoted saying that UK retailers usually the own prices for the company's upcoming gaming consoles. So, fans should take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.
For starters, Nintendo Switch is the new console from the Japanese video game company. "In addition to providing single-player and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose," GameSeek described the imminent gaming system. "The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles."
Hearsays have it that Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console, which means gamers can play it on the go and at home. "Nintendo has a gaggle of games starring its most prominent creations in the works," Business Insider reported.
Other reports suggest that Nintendo Switch users will also be able to play Gamecube gamers when it finally hits stores in the coming months. Daily Express suggested that the Japanese video game company is currently working on producing Gamecube versions of games like "Super Smash Bros. Melee," "Animal Crossing," "Luigi's Mansion" and "Super Mario Sunshine."
Aside from that, "The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild" game is also expected to be released together with the Nintendo Switch console. There are also claims that "Evil 2," "Codenamed Odyssey" and "Beyond Good" will be exclusively available on the hybrid console before these titles hit PS4 and Xbox One.
