Disney is sure to make several children around the world happy as it announced its new streaming box, the Disney Kids TV Box, during the CES 2017. The new streaming box, which is expected to cost around $99, will be the first streaming box to target children's niche as it comes preloaded with several Disney movies, TV shows and games.
What the Disney Kids TV Box is for
A report from Tom's Guide revealed that an early prototype of the Disney Kids TV streaming box was displayed during the CES 2017 event. While its specs have yet to be detailed, the report stated that the streaming box will be running on a modified Android TV operating system, and will come preloaded with several Disney content.
More than that, the Disney Kids TV streaming box is really tailor-fit for its target audience. The report further stated that the streaming box also comes with streamlined menus and an ad-free experience for the children. The same publication said the new Disney media steamer was great for parents who had kids that loved Disney content, and who want to cater to their tastes specifically.

Disney has yet to announce the lineup for the Disney Kids TV Box yet. Snakebyte, its official partner for the streaming box project, will be adding more content to the streaming box, according to Video Games Republic.
Specifications and features for the Disney Kids TV Box
The same publication also reported that more than being able to stream content, the Disney Kids TV streaming box is also able to stream from different channels, play prerecorded media, listen to music and play games. It's also equipped with three USB ports, which allow it to connect to external storage sources, and is packed with an expandable microSD storage.
Gamespot reported that the Disney Kids TV streaming box also comes with a Disney-branded game controller. It will be available for users for only $19, though it's only an optional accessory. The Disney Kids TV streaming box is expected to go on sale this year, though no official date has been set yet.
