Developer Prologue Games and publisher Wales Interactive is getting a new adventure crime thriller called "Knee Deep" coming out early this year.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the story of "Knee Deep" tells of a washed up actor who commits suicide in the Florida town of Cypress Knee. However, three main characters, blogger Romana Teague, the local reporter Jack Bellet, and the cynical yet efficient detective K.C. Gaddis, are not convinced that this was a mere suicide. Using their skills of deduction, observation, and wit, players would uncover the truth and conspiracy behind the shady and mysterious case.
This is also reminiscent of the games from Telltale since players are given a multitude of choices that will affect the game resulting to a variety of consequences.
"Experience a magical reality where characters are transported among scenes, set pieces moved into place, and music wafts from the orchestra pit," the official game description adds. "Knee Deep is about characters, storytelling, and the melodrama of swampland Florida."
In addition to that here's the rundown of the "Knee Deep's" features (thanks to Dualshockers):
"In Act 1: Wonderland, you'll explore the rundown roadside eyesore known as Chief Roadside's Wonderland. In Act 2: Festival, the action moves downtown as political candidates make their final pitches for the upcoming election. And in Act 3: Boomtown, our heroes find themselves deep in the north Florida swamp as they uncover the secret ambitions of their foes."
Features:
"Knee Deep" will be set to arrive on PS4 on Jan. 31, and on Xbox One on February 2017 and is available for pre-orders digitally only for Xbox One for $14.99 USD.
