"Sunday Pinasaya" is no longer doing so well in terms of ratings.

According to PEP.ph, the show's competitor "ASAP" has once again taken the lead in terms of ratings.

This said, Alden Richards, the one half member of AlDub is no longer helping the relatively new Sunday variety show.

The publication further revealed that "Sunday Pinasaya's" four-month reign as being the highest rated show on Sunday ended over the weekend.

"The last time the Kapamilya show outperformed the Kapuso musical comedy program was in Sep. 13, 2015 with a 0.5-point margin. On that day, ASAP garnered 15.8% against SPS's 15.3%," the publication noted.

Meanwhile, "Sunday Pinasaya" welcomed the New Year with equally impressive ratings.

On the first Sunday of the year, the Kapuso show garnered 16.2% while "ASAP 20" only received 13.1%.

A week after, "Sunday Pinasaya" still received higher ratings because of their special tribute for the late Filipino celebrity Kuya Germs.

"On this day, Gloria Romero, John Nite and other Kapuso stars paid tribute to the Master Showman German 'Kuya Germs' Moreno. Meanwhile, the Kapamilya network's top love teams including Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga, Zanjoe Marudo and Cristine Reyes, Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador, and Kim Chiu and Xian Lim made the viewers feel kilig on 'ASAP.' Liza Soberano also celebrated her debut on the Kapamilya program," the publication noted.

In other news, Jan. 24 marked "ASAP's" success as it took its usual number one spot from "Sunday Pinasaya."

As of late, it is unclear what exactly happened to the show's ratings. Before "Sunday Pinasaya" aired on GMA-7 last year, "ASAP" was the unbeatable show of ABS-CBN every Sunday at noon.

Regardless of whatever show GMA-7 pits against "ASAP," the latter will certainly take the lead.

However, when the AlDub phenomenon took local television by storm in the Philippines, the masses were swayed to transfer from ABS-CBN to GMA-7. After all, Richards was part of the show.

There was also a time wherein Richard's partner from "Eat Bulaga's" Kalyeserye Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub appeared on the show and helped boost the show's ratings further.

Now, it is unclear whether or not "ASAP" will continuously take the lead from here on out.
