The upcoming game "Sea of Thieves" has just released a new gameplay video showcasing the in-game footage of the game. Developers claim the main core of the game is via co-op multiplayer game mode.
According to the VG247, "Sea of Thieves" is a game that focuses teamwork through multiplayer game mode. This information was discussed with the game's developer named Rare as they reveal that the beauty of the game lies in its multiplayer game.
"Sea of Thieves" Senior Game Designer Shelly and Andrew Preston said that the game is best played via multiplayer. The game features characters with a certain task or jobs to do. Given as an example, Captains don't see the whole world map, thus, another player needs to do this task and needs to report it back to the Captain.
The "Sea of Thieves" features a realistic style of a game in several aspects. One player cannot finish the job alone by itself and needs to rely on its co-workers. Teamplay is the key as the Prestons said in an interview, players must work to together, finish the missions together.
WWG was able to review the game and said that the "Sea of Thieves" is a great game for teamplayers. One has to run with the treasure box, realistically the box carrier cannot do anything aside from running while the other 2 players are protecting him along with the treasures.
It's almost similar to a real ship sailing across the high tides. One handles the wheel to navigate the ship, while a man stands at the front deck to navigate the sea. All the players involved has a lot of things to do in order to reach success taking the treasures and bring fortune to their team.
"Sea of Thieves" features a user-generated content as Rare said previously. Players need to understand the meaning of cooperation and patience to have a successful crew of thieves as they need to overcome certain missions with several enemies before they can reach the treasures that they are targeting.
The game is expected to release early this year as the developers mentioned last year. "Sea of Thieves" is a Microsoft exclusive and will be released on the Xbox One and Windows PC.
