"Logan" star Hugh Jackman has revealed the official plot summary for the upcoming film.
The actor took it to twitter to show another black and white image from the film. While the image does not give away much about the story, the words written on it does open up some details about the plot points for "Logan," Screen Rant reported.
The photo containing a text reads, "In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican Border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives being pursued by dark forces."
In Brazil's Comic-Con over the weekend, the fans and spectators were treated to a scene from the film, Cinema Blend reported.
The scene was introduced by Jackman showing three main characters, Wolverine, Professor X and a child named Laura who are on the run from something. The three stops to have dinner with the family that took them in as they continue their journey on the road. In the last part of the scene, Logan tells the family that Charles Xavier used to be a principal of a school with special needs where he was previously a student.
The scene was relatively light and may even draw out some laughs. However it is also worth noting that the trailer makes it clear that "Logan" will be set on a timeline where the "Xavier's School for the Gifted" is not existing anymore.
Among other things that had been confirmed is that Laura will be related to Wolverine. In the comic books, Laura is also called X-23, Wolverine's clone daughter who has been created to be a perfect killing machine. A series of tragic incidents led her to Wolverine and the X-Men before eventually becoming a member of the X-Force.
