"The Bye Bye Man" director Stacy Title says Cressida Bonas reminds her of Cameron Diaz.

Speaking about the actress in her interview with mid-day.com, as cited by Daily Mail, Title was all praise to the actress, saying that she was so available and beautiful, and her work was so straightforward and simple and crisp. She further added that Bonas' performance reminded her of Cameron Diaz during the early days of the latter's career.

Bonas may have been first known as the former girlfriend of Prince Harry, but the 27-year old actress is about to break into The Hollywood on her own merits, as she takes on the role of Sasha in the new horror flick this January, "The Bye Bye Man." Aside from the movie, the actress currently stars as Daisy Buchanan in the stage production of The Great Gatsby. Next month, she will also be part of the highly anticipated movie "Tulip Fever," where she will be seen along with Judi Dench, Cara Delevingne and Alicia Vikander.

"The Bye Bye Man" is based on Robert Damon Schneck's book "The President's Vampire." In this adaptation, the story revolves around a group of students who moved into a haunted off-campus house, wherein they meet a sort of Boogie Man, called Bye Bye Man. The Bye Bye Man started playing with their inner thoughts and minds, which made them do unthinkable crimes wherein they themselves did not realize to be possible.

As to the setting, the story happened in Wisconsin, but Title preferred it shot in Northeast Ohio. Clevscene reported that Title finds Ohio fresh, incredible, varied, and gorgeous.

Title was best known for the film "The Last Supper," and now, the Indie director is back with "The Bye Bye Man." The movie is starred by veteran actor Doug Jones from "Hellboy," Faye Dunaway of "Mommie Dearest" and Carrie-Ann Moss of "The Matrix."

"The Bye Bye Man" is now open in theaters.
